Laboratories

Anatomy Laboratory

The Anatomy Lab at Swami Shri Prannath Parnami Pharmacy College is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy through practical exposure. The lab houses life-sized anatomical models, human skeletons, charts, and preserved specimens to facilitate in-depth learning.

Equipped with advanced teaching aids and interactive tools, the lab helps students correlate theoretical knowledge with the structural aspects of the human body, laying a strong foundation for subjects like pharmacology, pathology, and physiology.

Pharmaceutical Chemistry Lab

Our Chemistry Lab is a state-of-the-art facility that enables students to gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical chemistry, including organic, inorganic, and medicinal chemistry. The lab is equipped with sophisticated glassware, reagents, chemicals, fume hoods, and analytical balances.

Students are trained in chemical synthesis, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and standardization of drugs. Safety protocols are strictly followed, and the lab is supervised by experienced faculty to ensure accuracy, precision, and discipline in all experiments.

Biochemistry & Clinical Pathology (BCP) Lab

The BCP Lab is dedicated to exploring the biochemical and pathological aspects of human health. It is well-equipped with instruments such as microscopes, centrifuges, spectrophotometers, hemocytometers, and diagnostic kits for conducting biochemical estimations and clinical testing procedures.

Students learn techniques like blood and urine analysis, liver and kidney function tests, and detection of metabolic disorders. The lab plays a crucial role in bridging pharmaceutical knowledge with clinical applications.

Pharmaceutical Machine Room

The Machine Room is an integral part of industrial pharmacy training, offering practical exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. It houses various machines such as tablet punching machines, capsule filling machines, coating pans, mixers, dryers, and granulators.

Students are trained to operate and understand the working principles of equipment used in formulation, production, and quality control of pharmaceutical products, preparing them for industry-level operations.

Model Pharmacy

Our Model Pharmacy is a simulated community pharmacy setup that provides students with real-time experience in drug dispensing, prescription reading, patient counseling, and inventory management.

The pharmacy is designed to mirror real-world retail pharmacy environments and helps students develop soft skills, ethical practice, and customer service techniques. It plays a vital role in training students for community and hospital pharmacy roles.

Pharmaceutics Lab

The Pharmaceutics Lab focuses on the formulation and evaluation of various pharmaceutical dosage forms such as tablets, capsules, suspensions, emulsions, ointments, and sterile products.

The lab is furnished with advanced equipment including dissolution test apparatus, disintegration testers, viscometers, and homogenizers. Students learn to design and optimize drug delivery systems while adhering to pharmacopeial standards and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
